DEWALT Active Vibration Control

DEWALT power tools are among the most modern on the market with highly innovative user features. Active Vibration Control (AVC) is an advanced system developed for DEWALT powertools to counterbalance the forces of internal mechanisms which cause vibration. The great advantage of the system is that it is highly effective in reducing Tri-Axial vibration forces without any reduction in performance. Tri-Axial vibration will be reduced by up to 30% therefore usage time is at least doubled.

DEWALT products with AVC include Demolition Hammers, D25701K 7kg Rotary Hammer, D28415 Large Angle Grider, DC222KA, DC223KA, DC224KA, DC224KB, DC234KL, D25980 and D25730K.

‘Active Vibration Control’ (AVC) is DEWALT’s system for vibration control. ‘Active’ means a counterbalancing system which counteracts the source of the vibration. The key advantage of this system is that is highly effective at reducing vibration without any reduction in power or performance.
