To calculate the time to Exposure Action Value (EAV) and Exposure Limit Value (ELV), follow instructions below:
Instructions for use:
Select DEWALT tool by choosing a Category and CAT Number from the drop downs provided or manually enter ‘Vibration Magnitude’ in the white box provided
Enter usage, otherwise known as Trigger Time into the ‘Exposure Duration’ box
Click on ‘Calculate’ and the calculator will identify the risk of HAV exposure and necessary actions
If you need to calculate for the use of more than one tool in a day, click on ‘Multiple process calculation’ and again follow the previous steps above
